From abroad, even the photo side of a proposal or a wedding comes with questions. Where to shoot, what time, what the venue allows. I live here, so I take care of that, alongside you or your planner.

I have photographed at Panamera, Papaya Playa, Ahau, La Valise, Nomade, Akumal, Puerto Aventuras, and more. I know how the light falls in each of them, and the quiet corners most people walk past.
One person for the photos
We plan everything over WhatsApp or email, in English or Spanish, and I weave the photos into the timeline with your venue or planner. You will always know what comes next.
Nothing left to guess
I choose the spots and the time around the light, and adjust with you if the weather changes. You get a plan, not a list of questions.

About
I'm Laura. I photograph proposals and weddings across the Riviera Maya, from Tulum.
The pictures I care about are the sweet and intimate ones: the look right before the kiss, the laugh in the middle of the vows, a hand held a little too tight. I trained in theater, so I catch the shifts in emotion as they happen. A little direction when it helps, then I leave you to each other.
I'm great at conspiring surprises. I plan them with the person proposing and the venue, and I stay hidden until the moment comes.
Six years working in Tulum, alongside years in hospitality and event production. I know how these days run. I work from your timeline. English and Spanish.

Everything in Highlights, carried through cocktail hour and into the start of the reception. It also includes an engagement session within 30 days of the wedding, so you meet the camera before the big day.

Questions
Are there venue or outside vendor fees?
Venues set their own fees and control access. Access is handled by your coordinator or the venue contact. Ask your venue what applies to photographers.
How far ahead should we book?
I recommend 3 to 6 months ahead. Last-minute dates are possible. Ask and I will check.
How does the deposit work?
A 50% deposit locks the date. The remainder is due 14 days before the event. Booking less than 14 days out? Full payment is due at booking.
Do you travel?
Yes. I work within Mexico and outside it. Tell me where.
When do we get our photos?
A sneak peek within 48 to 72 hours, the same day for proposals. The full edited gallery follows your package timeline, from 7 business days for proposals to 40 days for most weddings. An express wedding gallery in 7 business days is available as an add-on.
What about backup gear and a second photographer?
Backup equipment always comes to the shoot. A second photographer is available on request for Highlights and Legacy, and comes included for 4 hours with Heirloom.
Can we get the raw files?
Raw files are not delivered. Every photo you receive is edited for natural color and real skin tones, and you have full personal use of them.
What happens if it rains?
I adapt to your event's rain plan. If the timing or locations change, I adjust with you and your planner, as long as it doesn't conflict with another booked commitment.
Do you work with my planner?
Yes. I coordinate directly with your planner on the timeline, the venue, and access.
For planners and venues
When you recommend a photographer, your name goes with it. I take that seriously.
I've produced events, so I read a day the way you do. I see what's coming before it happens, I'm where I need to be, and I don't need to be found. Your couples are looked after, and you get to put your attention where it's actually needed.
I keep to the timeline and I deliver on the dates I give you. Work with me once and you'll know what you're getting every time after.
